Stop the prosecution of LGBT+ community members being hunted in Tanzania.
The extremely anti-gay regime in Tanzania are in the process of letting loose a task force to hunt down and punish any individual identified as being gay, with a possible prison sentence of up to 30 years.
This has been going on for days already, with some 5700 reports to the taskforce identifying "suspects" and hundreds of people having to go into hiding, and yet this has barely been mentioned in mainstream media. At the very least, the world needs to hear about this so that pressure can be put on the Tanzanian regime to reverse this blatant homophobic discrimination.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about something the UK Government or Parliament is responsible for.
You could start a new petition calling on the UK Government to put pressure on the Tanzanian Government if that is something you would like to see happen.
