Burning the British Flag is offensive and a hate crime.
Those doing this should be subject to arrest under section 4 of the public order act. Can this be debated in Westminster.
I find it very offensive when i see our Union Jack being burnt, seeing as so many people have died in numerous wars and conflict to give us the freedom to fly this flag.
The main stream media posted footage of the union jack flag being burned on bonfires and i find this extremely concerning and borderline with far more serious offences. I will leave this for the people to decide if this should be discussed and debated within our political arena. please bare in mind that our Union jack symbolises the freedom that we have gained on the deaths of many men and women over the years in conflict.. I love my country. I love my Queen and I love my flag. it belongs ...
