Enshrine in law the obligation of political figures to be truthful.
While there will doubtless always be scope for spin, hyperbole and interpretation, this petition seeks to prohibit the mass dissemination of deliberate and demonstrable falsehoods by political figures in dealings with the public whether through interviews, speeches, campaigns or online.
