Petition Action

Use the 450 million pot hole budget to re-open youth clubs/ national service

Petition Details

There is a epidemic of violence and crime that is sweeping through our country and nobody seems to want to do anything about it.
Youth clubs and places for young people to channel their ideas and thoughts and to feel safe and learn to work together. Less social media more communication.

Additional Information

The evidence speaks for itself when a 16 year old girl is arrested for murder in London. Stabbings and violent crime are becoming commonplace as young people have no where to go or do.
Allow them to have influence on how the youth centres are run get them involved. re introduce national service for young people starting to get involved in crime or violence.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you are concerned about crime but we are not sure exactly what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take.

You could start a new petition calling on the Government to fund youth clubs if that is something you would like to see happen.
