Construction date gets set for 3rd Runway at Heathrow Airport.
The 3rd runway at London Heathrow airport and this would help big and small businesses, lower the unemployment rate, increase the economy and would help the Government.
Heathrow already employs up to 100,000 people. With the expansion of the 3rd Runway 1000s of more jobs will be available. It would also mean more flights would come in, tourism rates would increase and this would be great for the economy. The 3rd runway has already been agreed upon in Parliament however we have no word on when it is going to be built and the sooner the better, we need this to be discussed in Parliament so the country gets more information on the important subject.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The next stage of the Heathrow 3rd runway project is for Heathrow airport to bring forward detailed plans for consideration by the Planning Inspectorate.
This is the responsibility of Heathrow Airport and not the UK Government or Parliament.
