Products that use unsustainably sourced palm oil should have a logo on the front
Vegetable Oil, Vegetable Fat, Palm Kernel, Palm Kernel Oil, Palm Fruit Oil, Palmate, Palmitate, Palmolein, Glyceryl, Stearate, Stearic Acid, Palmitic Acid, Palm Stearine -
all these, and more, are names for palm oil. With so many names the consumer doesn't always know what they are buying.
Putting a clear label or logo on the front of a product will enable consumers to see if the product uses unsustainable palm oil. This will enable consumers to think about what their are buying without having to waste time searching the ingredients.
Hopefully this will lead to a decline in the purchase of these products and force companies to be more sustainable.
