Reinvest the funding from school fines- back into the schools.
I would like to know how much money for 2017/18 has been collected in school fines and what the money has been spent on
RESPONSE
For 2017/18 £118,920 income from fines has been collected.
Money generated comes back into the Local Authority as income and it supports council services generally.
The information is from Salford Council, so how much money is taken on a national level?
The fines that parents pay are going into the pockets of the council and spent on general services over educational means. School fines should be given BACK to the schools to help with the lack of funding in each local authority and enhance the lives and education of our future!!!
