Give nurses in Britain free transport to their workplace.
Nurses work hard for a lower wage than tfl staff. They work 12 hour shifts and keep the nhs moving. It's very difficult to make ends meet in London and a bit of respite by giving nurses free travel would help them feel valued.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take specific action.
We understand that you would like nurses to get free transport to their place of work, but we aren't sure what this would cover.
We also can't accept your petition because you haven't given your full name.
You could start a new petition asking for the Government to introduce a scheme entitling nurses to free bus and rail travel if that is something you would like to see happen.
