Lower maximum tuition fees for universities that rank lower on league tables.
Students are being asked to pay the maximum £9,250 by universities, when not every university offers the same standard of education. Universities ranking lower on league tables should not be allowed to charge students the maximum fees, that higher ranking universities expect from their students.
The institute of fiscal studies said in 2017 that students in England are expected to graduate with £50,800 debt on average, with students from lower income families graduating with a higher, £57,000 debt.
The average UK disposable household income is £27,000.
Students starting year 2012, begin paying student loans when earning £25,000.
Earning £25,00 annually, it would take 29 years and 4 months to repay student loans at current maximum fees.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you would like maximum tuition fees to be based on league table rankings. However, there are many different University league tables and we’re not sure which rankings you would like the Government to use.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
