Petition the government to match fund every pound raised by children in need.
Can't think of anything more worthwhile

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
The Government provides grants to domestic charities directly through grants, rather than indirectly by contributing to fundraising campaigns.
Gift Aid already allows registered charities, including Children in Need, to reclaim tax on a donation made by a UK taxpayer. This means they can claim an extra 25 p from the Government for each pound donated.

You could start a new petition calling on the Government to increase the amount of money that can be claimed by charities through Gift Aid if that is something you would like to see happen.
