Empathy skills to be taught in schools
Empathy skills enable children and adults to see the other person's point of view, respect values and solve problems collaboratively.
In the US, Mary Gordon has created the very successful program for schools and teacher training called Roots Of Empathy. Germany is also ahead in this. (Refs below)
We ask for a similar program for the UK,
starting with teacher training colleges, one county and one London borough.
Thanks!
