Intervene in the ongoing problems with medicine shortages in Community Pharmacy
Over the past year, there has been a rise in the number of medicines that community pharmacies in the UK are unable to source. When available, pharmacies have had to buy medicines at up to 300% more than they will get paid by the NHS. This shortage is putting patients at risk and can be avoided.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about medicine shortages, but we are not sure what intervention you would like the UK Government to take.
You can start a new petition setting out clear what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take.
