Confirm whether Article 50 can be revoked in the event of “no confidence vote”
Stalemate has been reached with regard to Brexit negotiations. It’s only fair that all UK citizens are aware of all the options available before March 2019. We all have a right to know if hypothetically article 50 can be revoked as a precautionary measure until an eventual agreement can be agreed
It is not clear whether article 50 can be revoked or even whether the 27 Member states will allow it - we need to ensure we are able make informed decisions regardless of people’s vote or another referendum or general election. There is no harm in exploring what our options are

The European Court of Justice is currently hearing a case referred to it by the Scottish courts on whether Article 50 can be revoked.
