Ban all synthetic wet wipes from being described as flushable.
There is a discrepancy in the description of different varieties of these wipes. Toilet tissue wipes & toilet cleaning wipes often explicitly state the product can be flushed or described as flushable. Whilst other items such as baby wipes or other general cleaning wipes explicitly say do not flush.
I think it is outrageously irresponsible of these companies to describe these products as flushable when a quick google search will clearly show that they are not and that they are costing millions a year to clear out of sewers.
I also highly doubt that any of the companies that make these plastic monstrosities even pay a penny to foot the cost of removing them from our sewers.
