This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take specific action.

We understand you are concerned about the wages paid to foreign nationals on vessels but we aren't sure what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take.

Minimum wage legislation applies to all seafarers working within the UK EEZ:

You could start a new petition calling for the Government to review the enforcement of minimum wage legislation on vessels within the UK EEZ if that is something you would like to see happen.
