Significantly increase the penalty for carrying an illegal knife.
The recent rocketing increase in fatal knife crime demonstrates a total disregard for life and a total disrespect for law and order. To redress the balance, the penalty for carrying an illegal weapon needs to increase significantly, and thereafter it needs to be enforced by exemplary sentencing.
