Reform GDPR/Data Law with Automatic Fines on Bodies/Organisations not Complying

Petition Details

Since the GDPR was updated in May 2018 some public bodies/organisations still do not comply. Reform GDPR/Data Law to impose Automatic Daily Fines for failure to respond/comply with a data request within 1 month. If any records are withhold an automatic fine of the ICO maximum of £500,000 must apply

Additional Information

If public bodies/organisations wish to recover some of the costs of the fines they will have to appeal to court to prove which information is being withheld/concealed from individuals & why, how the information was gathered & generated or records contaminated. If proven there is an attempt to obstruct justice those involved should be ordered to pay towards the fine/costs. We must have accountability across our public services, every individual in the UK is entitled to access to all their records
