We petition for the portrait of Sir Alan Turing to be used on the UK £50 note.
A first-class honours graduate in Mathematics, from Cambridge. His work at Bletchley Park helped shorten the second World War by two years and saved millions of lives. His work on early computers and the development of the Turing Test places him amongst the greatest twentieth-century scientists.
