Petition Action

To instruct social media platforms to properly act on reported accounts-CSE

Petition Details

We have been actively reporting profiles and posts which contain images of Child Pornography, beastiality etc, and whilst Facebook have kindly removed the individual posts, the pages remain. These pages are open to the public, including children who need to be safeguarded.

Additional Information

A list of all the Facebook pages found so far are available. A page will be removed temporarily, however the content links to an external page so whilst Facebook/Instagram etc are not hosting these videos, they are there to be viewed by anyone. Pages reported are not against community standards. We need the UK government to intervene and help these platforms respond to this issue immediately. This is part of the fight to stop CSE and the cruelty to animals that is happening in these videos.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.

You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
