National Justice Service (NJS) with Complaints/Offence Database
Create a ‘National Justice Service’ and ‘Complaints Database’ amalgamating and/or encompassing the multifarious fair trading, consumer watchdog, CAB and Ombudsman services; giving it the power to investigate malpractice and maladministration in both the public and private sectors.
An NJS arbitration tribunal, not a judge, would determine whether individual or class action was necessary and resolvable within their own or civil court, or required police and CPS involvement for trial in a criminal court.
The complainant(s) and/or an NJS tribune would be plaintiff depending on complexity and type of case.
Large savings to the tax payer would result through less bureaucracy, minimal legal expenses, imposed fines and most significant – a massive decrease in offence.
