Give parents & carers the right to opt their child out of All aspects of RE/RSE.
As concerned parents and UK citizens we want to be able to exercise our rights as parents/carers to be able to choose to opt our children out of ALL aspects of the new Relationships Education and Relationships & Sex Education curriculum that will become mandatory in all English Schools from 2020.
We have grave concerns about the physical psychological and moral implications of teaching children about certain sexual and relationship concepts proposed in RE/RSE, before they are emotionally ready and physiologically mature, as concerned parents/carers we object to the age group this is aimed at.
We are concerned that various sexual identity lobby groups will use the new RE/RSE curriculum as a opportunity to promote their viewpoint at the expense the traditional nuclear family.
