Petition Action

Abolish the fixed term parliament act

Petition Details

The fixed term parliament act served its purpose protecting the coalition government but has no place now to hold up failed governments and to prevent good government which is now the case. A government should be allowed to fall via a motion of no confidence or at the whim of the Prime Minister.
