Petition Action

Enable the means to choose whether internet linked activities can be recorded.

Petition Details

I wish a simple, obvious setting to be shown on all devices used to connect to the internet to enable or prevent the harvesting of all data generated from any use of the internet unless required by law. It should be readily accessible to be turned on or off and take immediate effect.

Additional Information

When Google updated it's Terms of Service, I checked what Google had recorded. It had recorded every search I had performed. Worse, the companies I had searched within, sent that data to Google. E.G. if within another company's web-site you click on a Google map, details go to Google. It goes much further. If I use my Android smart phone to take a picture, the software notifies Google! Anything Android processes goes to Google, payments, hotel bookings etc, they get to know everything - why?
