Reform the prescription fee
The prescription fee is £8.80. Many people on multiple medications cannot afford this.
Some people have gone without their medication. It had led to some people buying medication off the internet from unsafe, unlicensed sources, sometimes with detrimental effects see https://www.nhs.uk/using-the-nhs/nhs-services/pharmacies/dangers-of-buying-medicines-online/. It would be better to reduce the cost of a pre-payment certificate and/or put a cap on the cost dispensing a prescription. As well as that many drug companies rip off the taxpayer in the amount they charge for the drug and such prices need to be audited.
