Veterans are heroes! Give our veterans priority housing & mental health care
As of January 2018, hundred of our veterans were reduced to sleeping in doorways and begging on the streets.
At least 13,000 war heroes are homeless after leaving the military.
This figure is a disgrace and shows our Government is failing those who risked their lives for Queen & Country.
Many veterans have PTSD and are in desperate need of help.
Yet the Government signed the Global Migration Compact!
Instead of focusing on migrants trying to enter our country, it is time to support our veterans with re-housing and access to mental health support.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because we are not sure what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take.
The law already allows local authorities to give priority to ex-service personnel when allocating housing and the NHS offers dedicated mental health care to veterans.

You could start a new petition setting out clearly the change in the law or services you would like to see.
