All children starting primary school must learn a second language
The last government wanted to bring this in but unfortunately it has been shelved by our current government.
All children should learn a second language as early as possible. It has been shown that this develops the part of the brain neccessary to learn more languages in the future. And will increase confidence in Britons speaking other languages.
This should be done in schools aged 4/5.
