Parliament will sit until it has had a meaningful vote on Brexit.
The UK is due to leave the EU on March 31st 2019 and no plan is yet in place for what will then happen. It is essential that Parliament resolves the uncertainty ASAP. Therefore it cannot rise for a Christmas recess until it has had a meaningful vote on Brexit or decided on an alternative plan.
