Make restaurants have carbohydrate values listed on their menus for diabetics.
I am type 1 diabetic, I have recently started to count carbs as a way of knowing how much insulin to give myself for what I am eating. When I go out to eat there is no carbs listed on the menu. This makes it harder to know how much insulin to give myself
Counting carbs as a way of controlling type 1 diabetes has been around for a while now. I have only recently started doing this and am seeing a difference in my condition already. Us diabetics have to go through a lot in our lives so I want to do my bit to try to make it easier when we eat out at restaurants by having the carb values on the menu. This will make it a lot easier to work out how much insulin to take and prevent having to guess and getting it wrong causing hypos and hypers.
