Ban paper straws
Paper straws are flimsy and disintegrate before you've even finished your drink. They also taste like licking a newspaper.
Plastic straws aren't a problem if we don't throw them in the sea.

We can't accept your petition because we aren't sure what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take.
If you could start a new petition calling on the Government to withdraw its proposal to ban plastic straws if that is something you would like to see happen.
