Petition Action

We call on Parliament to reject Theresa May's personal DRAFT 'BREXIT' AGREEMENT.

Petition Details

After 2 years The Prime Minister has produced her DRAFT ‘BREXIT’ AGREEMENT. Her very “firm belief” in the DRAFT Agreement, that she has taken a personal lead in negotiating, runs contrary to all the analysis available. We call on Parliament to reject Theresa May’s personal DRAFT ‘BREXIT’ Agreement.

Additional Information

Extracts of May's AGREEMENT with the EU as summarised by the BUSINESS INSIDER:

• The whole of the UK will remain within the EU customs union.
• Northern Ireland will remain within parts of the EU single market.
• There will be no fixed end date to that arrangement.
• The UK will not be able to withdraw unilaterally from that arrangement.

The UK (will be) subject to EU rules and regulations.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Parliament has now rejected the deal, so we're not sure what further action you'd like the UK Government and Parliament to take.

In any case, how an MP votes would be an individual decision for that person, and not a decision for the Government or Parliament as a whole.
