Petition Details

Young girls will see this ‘warning sign’ and if rape sadly does acure they won’t speak out as they will feel its there fault! Rape is no joke so why would government even put this exact quote on knickers “if you are raped whilst wearing this product you may be held responsible in a court of law”

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

The stickers you're referring to seem to be part of a campaign protesting against rape and how women are treated during rape trials, so we're not sure what you'd like the UK Parliament or Government to do.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could start a new petition asking the Government and Parliament to fund a campaign to promote awareness of consent, if that's something that you'd like to happen.

You need to give your full name to start a petition.
