To test for streptococcus b in pregnant women to be routine test.

Petition Details

Streptococcus B is most common in pregnancy, even though this shows no symptoms it is only detected by a simple quick test. Many of mothers do have this and not be aware of it, this can be passed through to the baby when giving birth and cause life threatening illness (not common but can happen).
