Petition Action

Ban the use of unnecessary plastic packaging.

Petition Details

There is an image circling the internet with a pre peeled orange in a plastic packaging to keep it fresh. This is unnecessary because unpeeled kranges will keep themselves fresh without the use of harmful plastic.

I propose that this type of practice is made illigal to help save the environment.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. In particular, we're not sure whether you would like to introduce laws about pre-prepared fruit and vegetables or about plastics.

You might like to sign and share one of these petitions instead:

petition.parliament.uk/petitions/232684
petition.parliament.uk/petitions/231235

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
