All public institutions must use toiletries that contain no animal ingredients.
Ethical veganism is not limited to what is eaten, but to everything that is used; it is about minimising harm in all aspects of our lives.
It is reasonable for all public institutions to be mandated to use toiletries that contain no animal ingredients and that are not tested on animals.
The right to practice your religion and belief is covered under article 9 of the European Convention of Human Rights and the UK's Equality Act.
Under this legislation, the right to hold and practice the view of ethical veganism is recognised. For example: those who are in hospital, school or prison, have the right to request vegan food options. The logic here is the same, we have the right to have vegans options for the washing of our hands.
