stop employers controlling what you put on social networking sites

Additional Information

at my current employment there are 2 peaple on suspention becouse of things written on face book, their reasoning is that any comment made on an employees wall is company bussiness but when you leave work and you employers stop paying you you should be able to have the freedom to do and say anything you like without restriction, if you break any laws or say anything innopropriate then it should become a legal matter, and the police should be involved but not employers
also i think it would make more business sense that a company dose not act on external events to save on management time to sort events out and if nessasary vetting potential new employees and saves on suspention pay
also if new technologys capturing events outside work are allowed to affect things inside work how long till cctv and lip reading software become admissable in disaplinary hearings making nearly every private conversation on public property requiring justifacation
