Introduce statutory maternity/paternity pay for UK PhD students
PhD students are not currently entitled to Statutory Maternity Pay or Maternity Allowance due to their lack of employment status, relying on voluntary contributions from their institution or research body. Every PhD student should be entitled to receiving the same support and support should exist.
