Make all parliamentary votes in parliament free and open votes.
Make it illegal for political parties to apply the 'whip'. in the name of democracy, Members of parliament must be allowed to put National interest and their constituency before their political party without fear of intimidation, reprisal or punishment.

We can't accept your petition because we are not sure what action you would like outlawed.
Political parties can ask MPs to vote in a particular way. However, the decision is still made by the MP.
You could start a new petition calling for the UK Government to no longer appoint whips if that is something you would like to see happen.
