In the 2016 referendum the untruths and illegal overspend & funding of the Brexit campaign misinformed sufficiently to invalidate the result, and even with the lie-aided 17.4 million out of 53 million electorate this gave Leavers only 25% of the population’s votes. They and the voters among the remaining 75% must be given the opportunity to vote better informed. This is the validation for an advisory people’s vote to Remain in the EU or to Leave.
