Lower the age for smear tests from 25 to 18 to prevent cervical cancer.
I am making this petition because I want to make a difference to all woman living in the UK.
I am 21 years old and believe that the age of screening should be lowered to age 18.
I personally feel that as a young woman, we aren’t educated on how important it is to catch cancer in its early stages
I want every woman to be protected because cancer doesn’t discriminate against age. You could be 80, 50, 30 or even 16. So please vote for this petition so we can save lives!
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
