Remove safety regulations from emergency services
A recent case highlighted the death of a lady whose life may have been have been saved if rescue services had not been hampered by senior management implementing health and safety measures.
To prevent this from happening in the future I would like thegovernment to put in place legislation to allow the following clause to be added to each emergency service staff contract
"should the situation arise I will put my life at risk in order to try to save the life of another"
This will allow staff to do what they have always done in the past ,without the fear of being in breach of safety regulations
