Make store return policies more flexible by law
Consumerism is unfair enough to us already, and hugely profitable companies should give us the benefit of the doubt when returning products.
They should not refuse to refund resalable items on the basis that, without a receipt, it may have come from another store. Faith in humanity should be sufficient proof of purchase. Visibly unused products should not be doubted. Store credit is not an option. We need more lenient, flexible return policies.
