Article 50 should only be withdrawn once a date is agreed for second referendum
A proposed bill to withdraw/suspend Article 50 should only be tabled by the government on the prerequisite (condition) that a date is agreed for a second referendum as part of the same bill.
The Prime Minister is unlikely to be unsuccessful in receiving the necessary support by way of vote in parliament for a Hard Brexit. That being so the only remaining option (outwith completely ignoring the result of the June 2016 referendum) will be for parliament to withdraw Article 50 in order to allow the necessary time it will take in which to hold a second referendum.
A proposed bill to withdraw Article 50 should only be tabled by government once a date is agreed for a second referendum.
