Petition Action

What is democracy

Petition Details

The referendum to leave the EU was a democratic vote and has been ignored. We need politicians to explain why they should be trusted going forward.

Additional Information

Arrtical 50 was invoked by the whole palimentary team on all sides of the table. Why have they now decided to destroy democracy making most voters feel worthless to the point where the next turnout will be the lowest in history.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
