Allow ALL pre-installed social media on phones to be uninstalled permanently!
From around 4 years ago approximately, there has been what seems like a surrupticious agreement between mobile phone providers, manufacturers and social media companies ie Facebook, to forcibly lock in users by way of having these apps pre-installed on new device's and there is no way to remove.
In light of concerns expressed in recent times of the prevalence and impact social media can have upon how one conducts their daily lives, it's not too much to assume that 'choice' be at the helm in wether one actively seeks to participates and to a further extent, opting right out by deleting ALL instances of these intrusive apps. Even with the option to disable, these apps often are working in the background and gleaning information, not to mention the vast amount of space and memory used.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We cannot accept petitions about matters which are not the responsibility of Government or Parliament. This would be the responsibility of mobile phone companies.
