Lower the expenditure on military action in Afghan interventions
A lot of money is spent on military action, which has gone into the Afghan intervention because Afghanistan was seen as a threat to the USA. Since the execution of Bin Laden, the main threat has been eradicated. I believe that us being there, just causes collateral damage.
Since the 2001 terror attacks on the USA, under article 5 of NATO, we have been going to Afghanistan in order to "protect" and "prevent". So much money has gone into it, more than £47billion in military in general to be precise. This has just gone into killing mostly civilians.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand that you would like the UK Government to spend less money on military action in Afghanistan but we aren't sure how you would like it to do this.
You could start a new petition calling for the UK Government to withdraw troops from Afghanistan if that is something you would like to see happen.
