Ensure that maintained nursery schools are financially sustainable in the future
No guarantee has been given by government that adequate funding for maintained nursery schools will continue when supplementary funding ends in March 2020. We request the House of Commons to urge the Government to take action to ensure maintained nursery schools are financially stable in the future
Parents, carers, staff and governors of Beverley Manor Nursery School (a state maintained nursery in the East Riding of Yorkshire) are concerned about the future of maintained nursery schools in England after March 2020 as no guarantee has been given by government that adequate funding will continue when supplementary funding ends
