It would not be appropriate to honour Speaker Bercow with a peerage.
Complaints of misogyny and bullying by Speaker Bercow not been properly answered, disregard and bias demonstrated in Parliamentary process during the Brexit debates and negative impact on the work of the House of Commons
Speaker Bercow has been accused of bullying of staff and has made clearly misogynistic comments and these have never been properly investigated or answered. His recent biased interventions in the Brexit debate demonstrate that he has defied the convention and requirements of the Speaker that he/she is impartial in act and word. Speaker Bercow has demonstrated his bias on Brexit by driving his wifes car with a Remain bum[er sticker and going against convention and protocol in Pariamentary process.
