Petition Action

Stop unruly and unacceptable conduct of politicians in parliamentary meetings.

Petition Details

The behaviour of our politicians representing 68 million people in the UK is appalling, and there is no meeting, negotiation or place in the world where this behaviour would be acceptable. I object to jeering, booing, offensive shouting and abuse at our expense particularly at this difficult time.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We understand that you are concerned about behaviour in the House of Commons, but we aren't sure what action you would like to see happen.

You can find the rules of behaviour and courtesies in the House of Commons here:

www.parliament.uk/documents/media/Rules%20of%20behaviour%20and%20courtesies%20in%20the%20House%20of%20Commons%20November%202018.pdf

You could start a new petition setting out how you would like these rules changed if that is something you would like to see happen.
