The city Liverpool to become part of Wales
The Liverpool docks (arguably the most important in the country throughout history) were built by Welsh people, and helped make the city what it is today. Liverpudlians sound like and share comman ideals of the North Welsh, and would fit in to Welsh culture wonderfully.
Welsh people helped found Liverpool, and Welsh culture has massively influenced the people of Liverpool today. Liverpool would greatly boost the Welsh economy, and Liverpool could become the capital city.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
This would be a decision for the people of Wales and Liverpool, not the UK Government and Parliament.
You could start a new petition asking the UK Government and Parliament to work with the Welsh Government to arrange a referendum on Liverpool becoming part of Wales, if that's what you'd like to happen.
You'll need to provide your full name to start a petition.
