Remove the option from schools choice to have RE as compulsory so it's a choice
Not everyone needs to study RE. In some schools where it is compulsory pupils miss out on subjects they need to go down a certain career path.
Example; you choose Spanish as a language
You choose art and DT. You then can't pick IT so you can go into engineering.
